The VTAHPERD organizations intent is to service educators in the fields of health, physical education, recreationn and dance by offering various events and training throughout the year and also a major fall conference which will highlight exceptional programs and services for our educators.

Educators and Administrators in the fields of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance are encouraged to join the association. Yearly dues are kept affordable for our professionals.  By joining this organization you will be able to network both with other professionals in your field and in related fields.

The Vermont Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is the state organization serving educators in all these professions.  VTAHPERD is part of the Eastern District Association.

The mission of the Eastern District Association of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is to enhance the professional growth and development of its members; promote program standards; and serve as a liaison between the Alliance and its members through leadership development and the dissemination of information and educational services.
