2011 Fit and Healthy Kids School Wellness Award Recipients

The following Vermont Schools have won Fit and Healthy Kids School Wellness Awards for 2011. These honors recognize schools whose policies and practices reflect a high priority on healthy outcomes for children and staff. Top scoring schools receive cash prizes to support school wellness activities and a banner recognizing their efforts:

Our award recipients are honored at our yearly state conference in November. All recipients of the awards (except the Layperson award) are passed onto the Eastern District Association, and AAHPERD for regional and national consideration.
